Tesla coil based electrical phenomena

A Tesla coil is a resonant transformer which produces high-frequency high-voltage. Earlier versions used spark gaps as the switching mechanism, but modern variants like the dual-resonant solid state Tesla coil (DRSSTC) use power transistors. Hopefully I will get a DRSSTC at least twice the size and/or power of the oneTeslaTS kit. Tesla coils and components can also be acquired from websites such as easternvoltageresearch.com and amazing1.com. This article features a selection of photos and videos without much explanation or technical information about the electrical phenomena displayed.
