Welcome and introduction
image-aussie.com will feature a range of amateur photographs and videos, casually shot in Australia but generally limited to places within the state of Western Australia (South West region), rather than reflecting what wider Australia has to offer.
The original intention was to work towards providing arrays of commercial images for digital file downloads and postage delivered hardcopy prints, either individually and/or as categories. This would have helped to provide funding for better camera equipment and allow travel trips to capture the beauty of more places around Australia.
Unfortunately, I experienced chronic health problems which significantly limited functional capacity, and I also lacked the professional equipment required for the ever increasing quality that would be expected from an e-commerce website.
I still believe that I, and others who contributed, have captured some good snapshots worth archiving and sharing with the rest of the world for free of charge. So I decided to keep this domain as a hobby, and will update it when I can.

Unfortunately, this website is woefully outdated and under construction, or more specifically I am in the process of updating it with the photos I have accumulated over the years since it was first established and went online with a bare selection.
